ADF Cover

ADF Cover gives peace of mind for you and your family if you are to be discharged due to invalidity or die while serving.

Due to the nature of military service, it’s often hard for members to obtain death and invalidity cover at a reasonable cost. ADF Cover makes it easy.

You don't pay for ADF Cover - it's just one of the benefits of being an ADF Super member.

From 1 July 2016, you automatically receive ADF Cover if you are:

  • under 60 years of age
  • a member of the permanent forces or a continuous full-time reservist
  • either an ADF Super member (or would have been an ADF Super member but have chosen to have your 16.4% employer contribution paid to another superannuation fund)

How the Consumer Price Index (CPI) Increase affects your pension

Effective from 1 January and 1 July each year we adjust your pension in line with the CPI.
